Couples for Christ

CFC is a global organization present in 123 countries based in parishes. Its vision is to be Families in the Holy Spirit renewing the face of the earth.

Couples for Christ has a 2-fold mission; building the church of the home and building the church of the poor.

Ministries include - Kids for Christ for children aged 4-11, CFC Youth for those aged 12-21, Singles for Christ for those aged 22-40, Handmaids of the Lord for mature single women, widows,
divorced or separated, single parents or those whose husbands are not with the community, Servants of the Lord for mature single men, widowers, divorced or separated men or those whose spouses are not in community.

 

Other advocacies include the Gift of Life Ministry where we partner with local parishes and pro-life groups to promote the culture of life and Answering the Cry of The Poor (Ancop) where we build homes for the poor and help educate poor children. Couples for Christ was granted Vatican recognition as a private international association of pontifical right on March 11, 2000.

Handmaids of The Lord:

The CFC-Handmaids of the Lord is a community of Christian women actively involved in helping other women renew and live to the fullest their Christian faith. 

​

It provides support to women who are single parents, separated or divorced, widows, unmarried mature women and married women (whose husbands are not available or ready to participate in any religious affiliation) by becoming part of a women’s Christian faith community.  Realizing the difficult life and role that these women play in family and society due to loneliness, rejection and fear, the CFC-Handmaids of the Lord helps provide pastoral guidance and support.  Click HERE for more details.
