LEGION OF MARY

Legion of Mary is a lay apostolic organization at the service of the Church under ecclesiastical guidance. It was founded by Frank Duff on September 7th, 1921.

   

Its purpose is to advance the reign of the Mystical Body of Christ through Mary, Mother of Souls and Mediatrix of all Graces; to raise the spiritual level of its members and entire community to become better Catholics. There are two types of membership: Active and Auxiliary. The difference is Active member does assigned apostolate work every week and Auxiliary prays the Tesera Prayer. Members obediently assist our parish priest in any way that helps.

 

We meet every Tuesday 6:30 PM in the hall.

Legion of Mary Juniors:

​

The Junior Legion of Mary is an organization which enriches the spiritual development of children through our Catholic faith.  Raising the spiritual level of the entire community through direct contact and interest in every member of the Mystical Body of Christ, to accomplish this in union with Mary, Mother of Souls and Mediatrix of all Graces; to obediently assist our parish priest in any way he needs help within our parish and community.   We meet every Saturday 1:30 p.m. in the parish hall.   All children are welcome.
