REFUGEE COMMITTEE

REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT GROUP

Our Refugee committee is composed of volunteers who assist U.N.H.C.R. approved REFUGEES who have asked to come to Canada and resettle in Ajax. We work with the OFFICE of Refugees of the Archdiocese of Toronto (O.R.A.T.) and the Federal Government to assist the families in finding: Shelter, Education, Documentation, Employment, Financial support, and Health Care.

We are legally responsible for their resettlement for at least one year.

Since 2015, we have helped 2 families, one from Iraq, another from South Sudan, all totaling 13 individuals, because of your generous help and support.
