COMMUNION TO THE SICK AND SHUT-INS

This outreach ministry is to assist the parish priests in order to bring the Body of Christ to those who cannot attend Mass themselves. Lay Eucharistic ministers make pastoral visits usually on Sundays after Mass to bring consecrated Hosts to private homes, hospitals, senior residences and institutions. This ministry helps provide the sick with a sense of community and belonging to the parish family.                  

 

For Private Homes Holy Communion is brought on Saturday mornings.
