Daughters of Isabella
A Catholic women's organization, originally founded as auxiliary to Knights of Columbus, in 1897 for the purpose of uniting all Catholic women in a sisterhood to achieve the following aims:
-
To know one another better
-
To extend our circle of friends
-
To centralize all our resources to better help one another
-
To be a greater force to contend with in the pursuit of good in our society
We are founded on the principle of our motto: Friendship, Unity and Charity.
The Circle meets the first Thursday of the month from September to June in the church hall at 7:30 p.m. We support spiritual workshops and local charities as M.S., St. Vincent de Paul, Share Life, Rose of Sharon and various local charities. Plans include Pauper’s Meal in Lent; Annual Day of Reflection.
