January 2022

As the Province of Ontario returned us to Phase II of the pandemic restrictions on January 5; we too are taking
more precautions to keep everyone in our community safe:

† We have reduced the capacity to 50% inside the Church and the Parish Hall – when we are full, we
cannot exceed these capacities

† We will livestream our Sunday Noon Mass as well as possibly one earlier Mass (for those who wish to
virtually participate earlier

† As of January 1, all weekday Masses will be livestreamed once again – we thank our livestreaming team for their dedicated service.

WorshipSafe protocols will remain in effect.

The Parish Office is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm (as per the front of the bulletin) and
Saturday and Sunday 9:30am to 1:30pm. If you need anything outside those times, please call or email the
Parish Office. If you need to speak with Fr. Chris, he welcomes your call or email.

Due to the updated provincial pandemic restrictions, we have had to lower the capacity limit of our Masses.

We are not requiring registration for Mass, but ask that everyone be diligent with these cautions:

  • Please follow the direction of the Ministers of Hospitality – we welcome 50% capacity in the church and 50% capacity in the Parish Hall, but we cannot exceed our limit.

  • Please make sure to social distance yourself from others.

  • If you are seated on the ends of the pews, please get up to allow others to move inside, DO NOT wait for people to climb over you.

  • Please DO NOT come for confessions or Mass if you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to ANYONE who has COVID.

The rising numbers of COVID-19 cases give rise to us livestreaming our daily Masses again after Christmas (realizing some who wish to be here, may not feel comfortable just now).  Our radio broadcast remains active (FM 88.3) and so we will welcome you to let us know you’re here and we will have communion given at the 8:30am, 10:15am and 12:00 Noon Masses at the doors to the Narthex.

One of our Lord’s Day (Saturday Vigil & Sunday)
Masses will be livestreamed and uploaded to the Parish YouTube channel.   Please join us via our
parish YouTube channel, which continues to livestream our Masses everyday.

If you’re not comfortable being with us inside just yet, we hope you’ll consider joining us with your social
circles and bubbles in your vehicle. The Mass is broadcast live on FM 88.3. We will then ask you to come to the Narthex (lobby) doors to receive Holy Communion.

The Church will be open for prayer until 12:30pm each day.

Confessions return to the back of the parish hall for now, but will end on-time as we need to share the space with those coming for Mass
