I'm Ready for My Child to Enter

the Sacramental Life of the Church 

 

For various reasons, young people between the ages of 7 and 15 sometimes have not received the Sacraments of Initiation with other children their age.  We know that and we're happy you as parents find yourself ready now, asking the Church for these sacraments for your children.  As at all times, we want you all to be a part of our faith community, where Jesus Christ is at the center of our lives.  If your faith and the faith of your child makes you ready for this - we welcome you and look forward to helping prepare your son or daughter for the Sacramental Life in Christ, which is the warmest possible embrace Our Lord offers us.

 

The Church offers the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) which is designed to provide faith formation for adults and engagement in the parish community in the same manner.  RCIC is an extension of that for younger people.
